History of the house

After the rapid development of ferry traffic on the Royal Line between Sassnitz and Trelleborg in the 1960s, the imposing house was built by a Swedish construction company. Opened in 1969, the building was used as a hotel from then on. Since 1995 it has been owned by the Raulff family. Since then it has been a popular address for holidaymakers in Rügen. The former GDR charm is still partly to be found in the hotel today. With 119 rooms, the hotel's own Rügen-Therme, the restaurant "Neptun", the rustic broiler bar and the exquisite view from the panorama café, the Rügen-Hotel is always worth a visit.
